Made from Sustainable fabric
Beechwood, the wonder fabric
Made from the pulp of the Beechwood tree, wYse garments are made from Modal fabric. This luxurious fabric is ethically accredited, biodegradable and environmentally sustainable. Modal fabric is broken down from the milky pulp of the beechwood tree, which means it’s requires minimal processing and intervention compared to some other natural fabrics. It’s also 50% more absorbent than cotton. It draws moisture away from the skin, which allows you to feel dry. The soft and gentle feeling of the beechwood material allows the fabric to float on the body, it feels feather-light and effortless to wear. The beechwood trees come from a sustainable forestry plantation. The whole process uses environmentally friendly energy sources.
One added benefit of wearing sustainable beechwood clothing is it’s anti-crease abilities. If you love travelling, you can pull these pieces straight from your suitcase and the creases fade with the natural heat of your body.
Throughout the journey we’ve kept our range manufactured within Australia, supporting our local community.
Our journey
Liz began the wYse journey creating soft, gentle, natural, underwear (hence the Y in wYse). Growing with the popularity of eco-friendly products, this labour of love grew in to a fully functioning clothing brand. Advocated by our own loyal customers, word of mouth spread about how amazing it feels on the body. Now we create everything from everyday pieces to statement jumpsuits and stunning dresses. We evolve by listening to our people. Now 20 years on, Liz employs a team of passionate and creative women, and continues to stay true to the values of the brand.
Thank-you for supporting a sustainable and Australian made label.
