In the beginning…
SYREN aka Lulu Madill the daughter of Gayle and John Madill. Born in the village of Gympie 40 minutes north of Noosa. Lulu fell in love with Music at age 7 playing the violin then progressed to the classical piano. Lulu played the keys and was singing in her high School band at age 13. When Lulu left school she studied Fashion Design at the Sunshine Coast Tafe acquiring her Diploma in Fashion Design. Lulu worked in Sydney as a Fashion agent then Gold Coast and London working in retail while always loving to design and sew her own clothes. In 2002 Lulu found her passion with Electronic music while living in Glasgow Scotland where she experimented with drum machines, hardware gear and Synthesisers. In 2004 Lulu enrolled at S.A.E School Of Audio Engineering Melbourne where she did 6 months of the Audio Engineering Course before she commenced the planning and building of her own recording studio Melbourne 2006. At Buttons Touching Studio's Lulu recorded over 25 Artists. In 2008 Lulu traveled to the NT to work on Music Projects in remote Aboriginal communities for 7 years while touring her Music around Australia and the World, and SYREN was born…
Now years on…
SYREN, a visionary singer, electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist based at Sunrise Beach. Her unique sound is a melting pot of Dreamy Pop Music, Trip Hop to Conscious World Tribal Bass music. SYREN is celebrating 10 years of sharing her wild passion with her Music. She is set to release 'The Best of SYREN' Album, a collection of her favourite songs remixed with a fresh new Epic Sound... then comes the national tour. New live show 'Awaken To The Dreaming' brings the mystical journey of her music to life with her angelic vocals as she performs with her original beats with Live Band Matty B Gracious on majestic electric Guitar with young prodigy Drummer Max Harford. SYREN has won a number of accolades from award-winning Pop songs, soundtracks to winning international awards for her sound production on documentaries.
'Awaken To The Dreaming' Music Video released October 2022 is all about SYREN experiencing a VISION of LOVE. Gathering singers, artists, dancers, and visionaries from an array of cultures from around the World. Creating a divine dance together on sacred geometry on sacred country Noosa Beach with the ocean as the witness. A tribe embracing the awakening within the body dancing up a new rhythm interweaving higher vibrations as women and men create the symbolism of harmony n' peace.
SYREN attracted national attention after winning best 'Pop Song' 2014 Northern Territory Music Awards for 'A Feather To The Sea'. SYREN went on to release Single ‘Who Feels the Love’ May 2017. Music Video was filmed out of LA California and reached a massive audience after being featured in EDM SAUCE. SYREN created an incredible movement of Live Shows in 2021 for Single and Video Clip 'Sacred Body'
